Non-stop shopping and eating are the themes for today. After copious amounts of food and drink, we
are now back at our hotel and packing as I write. We had a secret Santa presentation prior to packing. No better place than on the 12th floor of the
Sky Bar overlooking the skyline of Saigon. Lots of thought went into these presents, and it was a great way to finish such a wonderful month away. Dinner was a little out of the ordinary. We reserved a little place called Noir. It's the number 1 rated
restaurant in HCMC, and for good reason. We wanted to give the students
something different from burgers, rice or noodles, and different is what we

Arts Around the World Tour 2015 - USA
31 students along with 4 staff and 2 parents are currently in New York as part of the school's Arts Around the World Tour 2015. The students have been undertaking workshops and learning more about their particular Art genre. Some of the places visited and workshops undertaken in New York have included: * Tour of the famous Radio City Music Hall and a Master Class for the Dance students with the iconic Rockettes * Hands on training for Drama students at the New York Film Academy * A Broadway classroom in Stage Combat for the Drama students * 2 days of intensive training and coaching for our Music student at the world famous Manhattan School of Music * Workshops for the Visual Arts students at the Paley Centre for Media and at NY Museum of Modern Art * Dance studentsRead more ...Arts Around the World Tour 2015 - USA
GGHS Excels at Interschool Debating 2015
This year we have entered four Year 8/9 teams and one Year 10 team in the interschool debating competition run by the SA Debating Association. On the evening of Tuesday 13th May, 19 students attended Loreto College at Marryatville to take part in this year’s first round of competition, winning four debates out of five. The Golden Grove l team – Philippa, Lily and captain Leah – convinced their adjudicator “that smoking should not be banned in public places”, defeating St Peter’s College.
