In the Discovery Centre, we empower students to develop life skills and inspire independent lifelong learners, while providing an environment that supports students’ wellbeing so they can achieve their full potential.
Golden Grove High School’s Discovery Centre is a Department for Education Northern Region option for students with an Intellectual disability who are committed to providing students with intellectual disabilities quality learning and education and supported pathways for post school options.
From 2021, The Discovery Centre will offer both Disability Unit classes and Special classes to provide supported learning for students with disabilities.
Placement in these classes is through the Secondary Special Options process therefore the school is unable to take direct enrolments for these classes however, can answer any questions in relation to programming and educational options available.
